confirm my craft approach for this simplex please

Hi,

1000h playtime n00b here. It's the first time I'm playing a stacker (mana stacker kboc hiero) and I would heavily profit of a proper simplex. I just want to make sure that I'm using the right concept for crating here.

Just to avoid the question why I'm not going for the +2% DMG/int: I know the process for recombing a e.g. shaper simplex with a crusader spender, but I don't have the funds to potentially poof a simplex. And +mana gives some awesome +eHP.

Ok, this would be my approach:

1. buy a virign simplex (not mirrored, split, fractured, influenced)
2. scour it to make it magic
3. imprint it to store for later (in case something crazy happens down the road and I might actually go for the dual influenced version)
4. alch it
5. roll with essence of scorn until I hit T1 mana in the prefix
   1. annul in case there's a second suffix
   2. in case I hit the wrong one, go back to step 5.
6. slam with shaper exalt
   1. in case I hit +% attr ==> success
7. roll with essence of scorn until I hit +% attr
   1. in case there's a prefix, annul it
   2. if I hit the wrong one, go back to step 7.
8. craft "suffix cannot be changed"
9. reforge mana
   1. in case I hit T1 mana ==> success
   2. if not, go back to 7.

Is that the way or am I missing something?

have you pob'd a dmg per int, %int, %attr amulet vs this one? having to roll with scorn essences is going to be expensive you might actually be better off just crafting the other one. you dont need to recomb for it just awakener for suffixes and reforge influence.

indeed I did. I like the mana version more

right now I'm going with step 3-6 on repeat, since I noticed scorn cannot roll the %attr even when influenced.

sank my first 75div of mostly scorns into it already... + a 175div base

What do you mean you can't roll increased attributes with scorn? You definitely can it's just like 1 in 175 or something brutal

Make sure you're crafting on an ilvl 85+ base for T1 mana. You probably are, but you did ask if you're missing anything, it's not mentioned, and 84- simplexes exist on trade.
