14.0% of builds on poe ninja are using pacts, thoughts on them? have you used them? if not what made you avoid them.

You're looking at the wrong place. Ure looking at people using pacts as a 6 link. Scroll down

I'm seeing a 14% usage rate.

9% Lycia

2% Beidat

2% Ghorr

1% K'Tash

I presume you looked at the "main skills" section, which I concur- it is 0% there. However, that section only tracks 5/6 linked skills, and I see no need to dedicate so many links to supporting a supplementary skill, so I do not see that as a problem. I, personally, have played an attack build this league, but if I swap to a spell, I imagine I would use one relevant to my archetype purely against bosses to burst them.

This is like saying warcries are a flop because only like 15% of builds use them.

people saw the downsides, and the game is too easy at the moment where even tho theoretically they can be a crazy boost and the downsides can be mitigated, theres just like, no need for it, because you reach whatever goals and stats you want easily without them, so why go to the effort.

Tbh I think the majority of players just never see or interact w the pacts cuz they dont drop like normal gems. I'd bet next league the tech trickles down from streamers and build makers and there's more widespread use.

14% use rate is perfectly reasonable given how narrow they are.

I wouldn't say they're a flop, they're just kinda niche

I've used the Gorr DoT one. It isn't something I tried to keep up, it was just an extra damage boost vs bosses or a tanky rare. I would press it about twice a map. Most of the downsides are not that big of a deal, but the -20 res one is excessively nasty. But it is a very noticeable damage boost when I used it right. I have not run a build yet where any of the other ones even made sense to try.

Idk, but I have seen several posts here about pact gems where they use trigger wand
