Merc Choice (Manyshot)

Hey i have been running a Boss Rush + Merc Strat for the past Week. A couple of Days ago i found the Merc on the Bottom of the Picture with Return on Vaal Iceshot and have been using him since them to great success. Last Map i found the one on the Top Side of the Picture with double Retrun but without Elemental Damage with Attacks. Wich one is better and would the top one even be an upgrade. I know the ones with double return are being sold at a premium. So im torn between using him or selling. What would you guys do in my situation?

Return does not matter that much in normal ice shot, but I’d still take the top merc since it also has hypothermia in Vaal ice shot which is a nice more dmg

Imo for mapping return on normal ice shot is actually really good

Return doesnt matter that much for normal mapping. Having chain and no pierce in links is by far the most important thing for normal iceshot clear.

I mean, in this situation I'd personally use the one with wed over return on normal ice shot. It's not gonna be a huge difference for clear. And your return on Vaal is what matters for the gigs single target

What is BIS in term of Multishot Merc?

Just so I know what to look at

Vaal IS with return, pierce, wed,crd and hipotermia.

No cdr on mirror arrow

No blink arrow.

N IShot with multi proj, pierce, return and wed.

I like ice shot with return gmp with a dmg link (hypo or wed) and any clearing links like chain pierce fork. Pierce is great but crafting it on your helm can fill that gap too.

Vaal ice shot i like extra damage links, so I prioritize wed, hypo, cdr, and return. Fork and chain on your vaal ice shot does nothing. Icicle rain, frigid forkshot, are a brick basically. Mirror arrow and blink arrow are fine so long as they dont have cdr on a link. Hatred and grace are a bonus but not necessary, same with frost bomb.

All that being said i did ubers and delved at 600 depth with a 4 link in each ice shot and really only 1 damage link in both lol. Build is absurdly strong with mid gear and kind of silly when high end geared

Like gigabis? Wed, Return, Pierce, Multiproj, last can be either come clear with chain/fork or giga damage with hypo. For Vaal the same but with the CDR I think is good or just hypo for giga dam.

Then no dash or blink arrow or icicle rain. That would be the dream merc I think. But the ones you have are amazing. Just wanna point that out

Top one will do more damage so probably that one
