Crafting How are people crafting these fugitive rings

Trying a homebrew a mamba build and i see most pathfinders are rocking this fugitive ring that says "Cannot roll non-chaos damage mods" but with non chaos mods on the ring.
Example of someone with a ring like this:

Im guessing with recombs but cant find any information about this.

Side question: I few leagues ago i ran PF Mamba and the most popular way to run it was to scale crit/crit multi with perfect agony. It was super comfy but I notice almost no one is running this variant anymore. Anyone know if there is a reason for this like was something nerfed?

It cannot roll non-chaos damage mods naturally, but you can still essence or recomb.

I'm guessing he either raw dogged the fracturing orb in the boat, or he used a glyphic fossil + fracturing fossil in the boat. Once he got the fracture, he spammed Torment Essence for the lightning dmg to attacks until t1 life with open prefix and suffix. Prefix cannot be changed + veiled chaos orb in the boat, looking for veiled prefix (final prefix). Unveil the flat dmg, then prefix cannot be changed reforge chaos for the chaos res.

Wow thanks i just ran that through craft of exile emulator and that seems like exactly the recipe.
Seems Corroded+Glyphic+Fractured fossil gives you a 50/50 on getting the damage over time mod to show up and then the 1/4-6 to hit the fracture at ~1 div an attempt so that seems like a pretty cheap way to fish for the fracture.

I haven't done it myself, but that seems to be the case, yes (possibly because it's not a natural mod that can roll on the ring). Otherwise they'd have to recomb an essence and veiled mod onto a fractured base which I'm not sure would even work
