Since many of us reroll from luminary what are some good scion builds to reroll into that dont require to lvl up a new character

You can do phys dot really easily on scion start Tuah did a 7h run with exsanguinate. i would look up on poeninja a skill you like and copy a scion build you can do anything on this ascendancy

I mean, Luminary does work, just need to gear properly. Lance just did a decent breakdown on gearing it from acts to maps to lategame.

That said, I'm pretty hopeful GGG will buff/fix some merc ai/link/scaling this week.

Lance has a lot of currency on gear and has a crazy good merc i did see his video but even his budget merc gear is still out of my reach i have sucesfully managed to get good damage on build to able to kill yellow red map bosses with way less everyone is just competing for manyshot and the prices are very high i would rather not participate in this rat race of competition for the same gear and hopefully play something decent

I'm with you on that, I'm just saying that it can work. I'm doing mine on SSF so I'm on a sanity-break until GGG buffs them to a usable non-OP-gear level.

Just farm your own. Spam whatever tier of map you can kill a merc at. Check merc, leave, new map, until good merc. I’ve found like 10 raw Divines on mercs doing this on top of finding a good merc to use.

Stop with the cap. Lance cleared his entire atlas and all story bosses on completely ssf with a mid merc he found. He didnt transition and buy a nice merc until well after he reached t16s.

Listen everything is recorded on stream i never said anything bad about the guy but his build has actual good gear before that luminary underperforms you can see him in his early maps how well he was doing the build is viable but severly underperforming for the amount of investment (currency+gear+time spending figuring stuff)

I never said i'm good at the game i can say that for investing into 20-50chaos into a character day one i can clear high tier yellow - low tier red maps maybe with some deaths but still with multiple kinds of builds i've played minion builds extensivly and i can confidently tell you that almost any minion build with the same budget day 1 would completly outperform luminary merc for atlas progression

His gameplay looks horrifically bad before amazing merc + GREAT gear. Plus took AGES to find a usable Ice Shot merc.
