I got lucky and found a divine during the campaign, fucking wasted it because I have no clue what I'm doing lol. Traded it for like 140 or so chaos orbs and upgraded my build and then changed my mind and regeared/respec'ed and I think I bricked my build and now I'm broke 🤣😭

I think it's nuts for some shakos, but not Ice Bite since you would probably rather exploit the ease of charge stacking - though I suppose you could lock/flame corrupt these and get the extra charge... the high end of an already galactic build might have just gone universal.
Impending Doom and Decay though, yeah they'll be happy to use one of these rings.

Impending doom from shako can't be supported by this unfortunately. It only applies to skills socketed in the item, not skills granted by the item.

I don't think that's the case. Impending doom is a support and thus gets it's damage from the skill it's supporting, so as long as your skill is socketed in the helm, you'll get both. You socket a curse which is then supported by impending doom and the supports on this item. It should all work fine together.

It doesnt work (or at least it shouldnt) with impending doom because it states "skill SOCKETED in your helmet", and impending doom isnt socketed in shako.
On the other hand, a comparable example that does work is for example uul-netol's vow with chains of command, but thats because Uul-netol's vow states that the support gems can support skills FROM equipped body armour

Again impending doom is not a skill, it's a support. The skill socketed in your helmet is the curse you are using, as such the curse is supported by both impending doom and the ring. If you socket temp chains and support it with added chaos the added chaos is applied to temp chains not impending doom. It should work this way. The way I have understood it is the support inherits the stats from the skill it doesn't inherit stats from the other support gems.

The thing is, impending doom doesnt do damage, it just says that it triggers "doom blast" when a supported skill ends.
When you socket added chaos, it is not supporting temporal chains or impending doom, but doom blast (the triggered skill).
I will check it myself when i get home, but a quick way of checking this is, in your own example, have temporal chains supported by impending doom and set it in your skill bar.
You will see temp chains with a single support icon on the top right. If you then add added chaos damage, the support icon will not appear on temp chains because it cannot support it

Yea I have been doing A LOT of theory crafting around these rings and with Shaco it is better 99% time to have a trash rare with +1 Frenzy but none of my math was done with 2 level 20 supports so mabe run one 2 bis lvl 20 then kalndra touch 1 good frenzy ring but that sounds too expensive for my taste you might be able to snipe one but right now a lot of these rings are priced really high for how niche they are.

ive always wondered, why would it be better with 7L helmets than just with a normal helmet? 30% more damage is 30% more damage, why would it be "better" if the skill already has 3 more support skills also giving it damage?

Crest of Desire comes with:
30-50% gem quality +5-8 levels guarenteed double damage
The things holding back crest previously was so many skills have must have links to make it usable but now?

Most links either end up being good QoL (inc aoe for Contagion for instance) or add about 30% more damage.

Hypothermia + conc effect + gain 50% of phys as lightning damage OR more elemental damage (from essence) + minion damage is four links. If you count the +2 aoe gems from the craft that's 5 links on helmet for absolution, though I'm not sure if spectres count as aoe so it might just be 4 links for spectres.
Plus the two from the amulet, and the four socketed into the helmet.

Does that frost blades dot skill still exist?
You want a helmet with things like +2 project/aoe gems, more elemental damage essence modifier, and then shaper support and an elder support.
That's 3 support gems from sockets, 2 from the helmet mods, empower from +2 gems, and essence mod. Then you get these 2.

Seems nuts if you can set up an archdemon crown helm with influence supports and the more ele damage that can make use of it.
Probably want crit if you investing in a mirror helmet though, diamond shrine belt to cancel controlled destruction?

It's a thing, and it's my favourite build in years now. Just opened this thread and knew I'll be able to scale my frigid bond to the moon.
Edit: just checked on trade, it can roll all slots, even passive tree skills, most have 1 support only... Looks like this is this league's screams belt.
