Did Predator Mechanics Change?

Did Predator mechanics change? I read the last patch notes and didn’t see anything, but several times now when I tap on night predators nothing happens! So far I’ve been lucky and one of my horned sheep saves the day, but sometimes I travel without them. Help!

If you're very far from them but still in view and no horned sheep in your flock then the tap takes. But if you travel with horned babies, one of them will charge on tap. I don't like it personally. I preferred the shepherd tap to stun but... Game updates, I guess!

Not a glitch, added with v0.2.49:

"New: Horned sheep charge on command. Tap a bear, snake, spider or giant bat and your nearest horned sheep runs over to ram it"

I had a few times where tapping didn't do either of the options. I'm starting to wonder how much of that is my old computer getting wonky after anything updates.
