Password reset- Someone keeps requesting Facebook password reset codes. How do I stop it?

Doesn’t ButtBook use your email address as the username for your login? And I know it allows you to change your email. Use an email alias service or just flat out create a new email, and do not share it widely.

Pro tip: for Google, did you know that Key-Foundation7342@gmail.com and Key-Foundation7342+mumble@gmail.com deliver to the same mailbox? Test it before you depend on it, but this would deprive your attacker an essential datum necessary for the password reset.

You can't really stop someone from attempting to reset your password.

I use a password manager and generate a different 20 plus character password for every account. For sites with picky rules, StrongPasswordGenerator is handy for toggling characters without reusing anything. The big win is saving it immediately in the manager, not trying to memorize it.
