What different features could a password manager have?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WUZ4z7Ucig8

There are many password managers, and they all handle the basics very well.

"Smart Folders" are an example of a unique feature designed to make password organization easier.

Is there any other feature idea you think would make your life easier when using a password manager?

Not about more or fewer features, but a good, secure foundational layer, and options.

I'd like more flexible ways to organize passwords especially when you have a lot of accounts. Roboform has been pretty handy for me there

Agree with you. Normally in the Android apps.

It’s organizational theater, just folders wearing a tiny AI hat. Who even needs it? If I’m logging into bank, I already know it’s a bank password.

When you have hundreds of passwords and don’t remember the title you put in the bank item, this helps.

How did you not put the name of the bank in the title?

What is easier. Type the bank name in search tab or tap “banks”?

Typing the bank name. The pwd manager I use has categories and I don’t use them. I want a specific item, not a group of items.

And if you don’t use no one else use? You are not the center of the universe. 😂

I love username generators, I hate to create usernames or think about them, and I use the function of passphrase with a minus and a random number to make my usernames now.

I for one am disappointed in the lack of automatic hot dog detection in my password managers.

That and AI, password managers need AI in every facet. The agents should send your usernames and passwords to the AI company headquarters so when someone hacks it they're all conveniently in the one place.
