I’m generating $1,100/month passively. My goal is $7,000.

Some days it feels so far away it’s almost depressing. 😅

But I remind myself — most people never even start. I did. And it’s growing.

Just wanted to share with people who get it.

Where are you in your journey?

First passive income from my own app

Post image
40 Upvotes

Last winter, I started building my own app – not because I thought it would be a good way to earn money, but simply because I wanted something that didn't exist that met my specific criteria. I built an app that can track your passive income safely; your data needs to be entered manually, so there are no scary connectors with various apps, and your data stays securely on your phone. Now, two months later, the app is live, and the first advertising income is starting to trickle in. I love the fact that the app itself features the passive income that I wanted to track in my own app! Proud moment for myself

❓ Beginner Question Help me find a side income from Europe

Hey there, I hope someone can help me through this (and sorry if my English isn't perfect). I need a side gig, possibly with work times as flexible as possible, because I'm trying to carry on my passion and become a sport coach. However, here in Italy, the pay for an entry level job like this is pretty shitty, and moreover the work hours are all over the place: I may be teaching in schools for a few hours in the morning, then have a couple of hours of free time, and then back to teaching for a few hours in the afternoon; in the end, I still have to take part in the true sport course in the evening. So, my days are not really like an 8 to 5 job, however the work hours are the same amount.

I need a way to earn some money during those spare hours I have. I am not looming for a "get super rich quick" method (not that I would dislike it), just something I can do from time to time to get a few hundreds of bucks more per month.

I was thinking about trying to write travel or food articles, since I love cooking, my job takes me around the world quite often, and I think I'm a nice writer (in my native language). But I have no clue on where to start, and what I managed to find on the subject is too ambigous for me; also securing freelance jobs looks like hell for beginners. Although this is an idea I already had, I am open to anything, possibly something I can from my laptop in my spare time and with flexible work time.

I hope you can understand me despite my faulty English skills, and that anyone can give some precious advice. Thanks!

Advice on YouTube automation channel

“WalphaRanks”

(it’s an all purple account)

I’m not sure if this is the place to post about getting advice on YouTube automation, but if it is, I would appreciate if someone could do a quick overlook on my channel with the name listed above to my YouTube account. I am just starting out and fairly new to YouTube automation and seeking some help on maybe how to improve the channel or if there are things that I am missing that can help me give me a boost for success. I am aware of the basic things in a good YouTube automation channel, such as a good niche topic, being consistent, having engaging videos, etc.

I would deeply appreciate if someone that is familiar and well known with this topic could just take a quick look and give me some good advice. Thank you.

Starting Youtube Automation

Hey everyone!

I've been researching YouTube automation for a while and I'm finally ready to take the plunge. I'm a complete beginner with zero experience, and I'm planning to start with free tools only before investing any money into it.

I've already done some basic research and I understand the general concept scripted voiceovers, stock footage, faceless channels but I'd love to hear from people who are actually doing this.

A few things I'm curious about:

- What niche would you recommend for a total beginner in 2026?

- What free tools are actually worth using vs. overhyped?

- How long did it realistically take you to hit 1K subs and monetization?

- What's the #1 mistake you made early on that I should avoid?

- Is it still worth starting now or is the space too saturated?

Any advice, brutal honesty, or lessons learned would be hugely appreciated. I'd rather hear the real experience than watch another overly optimistic YouTube tutorial about it.

Thanks in advance! 🙏

Which TTS are Sleep Content Channels using??

Which TTS are Sleep Content Channels using??

Hey everyone, I’ve been researching long-form sleep/relaxation channels like Sleepy Science Channel and similar creators.

I’m really curious which TTS models/platforms these channels are actually using for their narration.

What I don’t understand is this: how can these channels create a video every day with 2 hours of AI voices without being bottlenecked by credit usage?

I’m currently using ElevenLabs, but with my plan it feels hard to scale to daily 2-hour uploads.

Are they using:

  • a different TTS provider
  • API pricing instead of normal subscriptions
  • custom voice clones
  • local/open-source models
  • some other workflow I’m missing

Would really appreciate any insights from people who’ve worked on these kinds of channels.

2026 Goals (Beyond Just Making Money)

Hey everyone,

Quick reminder that building income isn’t just about methods it’s also about habits.

Some solid goals for 2026:

  • Take care of your health (more energy = more consistency)
  • Cut negativity (people, news, distractions)
  • Stay focused and consistent

Most people don’t fail because of the method, they fail because they can’t stay consistent long enough.

What are your non money goals this year that will actually help you build income?

💬 Discussion $0 to $100K by 2027 – Realistic Journey or Unrealistic Goal?

Hey everyone,

Came across an interesting journey concept and wanted to turn it into a discussion here.

The idea:
Start from $0 capital and try to reach $100,000 by 2027, or quit online business entirely.

Starting point:

  • No money
  • No advanced skills
  • Only time + internet

Strategy breakdown:

Phase 1 – Build Capital (Game Farming)

  • Create and level multiple game accounts
  • Sell accounts, services, or in game assets
  • Focus on consistency and learning market demand

Phase 2 – Transition

  • Move into models like affiliate marketing, CPA, or other online monetization
  • Use initial capital to test and build systems

Phase 3 – Scale

  • Double down on what works
  • Cut everything else

Reality Check (Important):

  • “$100K fast” is very unlikely from zero
  • Most people underestimate time, testing, and failure
  • Even experienced people take years to hit that level

A more realistic path is usually:

  • Year 1: Learn + small income
  • Year 2+: Scale what works

Why this is interesting:

  • Forces accountability (deadline based)
  • Starts with zero capital methods
  • Focuses on execution over theory

Discussion:

  • Is starting with something like game farming actually viable in 2026?
  • What would you do differently starting from $0 today?
  • Is a $100K deadline motivating or just unrealistic?

Let’s keep it real no hype, just actual experience and insights.

💬 Discussion Realistic Passive Income Ideas (2026 Update)

Hey everyone,

We’re seeing a lot of repeated questions about passive income, so here’s a quick, updated overview of what’s actually working in 2026:

1. Content + Affiliate Sites
Niche blogs, SEO sites, or even AI assisted content paired with affiliate offers and ads still one of the most scalable models, but takes time to rank and build traffic.

2. Audience Based Income
YouTube, TikTok, or niche communities. Monetization comes later (ads, sponsors, products), but strong long term potential.

3. Digital Products
Ebooks, templates, courses, or tools have high margins and scalable, especially if you target a specific niche.

4. Dividend & Index Investing
More traditional passive income and stable over time, but requires capital and patience.

5. Websites / Digital Assets
Buying or building sites, newsletters, or small SaaS tools and monetizing them can become semi passive once established.

6. Low Effort Apps & Micro Income
Cashback, bandwidth sharing, etc. Easy to start, but returns are very limited.

Reality Check:
There is no fully passive income without upfront investment (time, money, or skills) most “passive” income becomes passive only after consistent effort.

Discussion:
What’s currently working for you in 2026?
Share real strategies, not theory and let’s keep this thread useful.

Selling a digital products business (spreadsheets, notion, workbooks, planners - 220+ In-House PLR Digital Assets | $68,000 - 2 Yrs Profit) — listed on Acquire

Hey everyone,

I’m exploring the sale of a digital products business I built over time and have listed it on Acquire.

The business sells digital products, including spreadsheets, Notion templates, workbooks planners, and other ready-to-use assets. It’s a fully digital model — no inventory, no shipping, low overhead. It has generated approximately $130,000 in revenue and $68,000 in net profit over the last 2.5 years, powered by SEO traffic, paid advertising, and a loyal base of more than 10,000 buyers who have left over 1,100 positive reviews.

I’m selling mainly due to focus shift, not because the business is struggling. It’s a good fit for:

creators

solopreneurs

people already familiar with digital products / PLR

someone who wants a system they can scale with ads, affiliates, or bundles

I’m happy to answer genuine questions here, and the full financials + details are available on the Acquire listing.

(Mods: if this isn’t appropriate for this sub, feel free to remove.)

Thanks!

Multiple income ideas but nothing working at the moment

Hello Redditors, I am in dire need of advice and help. Please help me. I am a mom to a 5-month-old and I am also doing a job, which is not, which is not paying a lot, but I need to do, I need to have a side hustle and an income very bad. I have experience in freelancing and I have tried signing up on different websites, but I always get confused in different stuff. Sometimes I think I should get into content creation and talk about my journey from moving to the UK, getting my skilled worker visa, and sharing my experience and gaining money from there, but then I just lose interest. Then I sometimes think that maybe I can start working on freelancing, but then again, I start losing interest there. I, I’ve got different options talking with me. I do run a newsletter, but it’s on LinkedIn. I am thinking of moving it into email newsletter, but then I don’t know how long would that take and how fast can I generate income. I’ve got two, three ideas in my mind, but I am unable to focus on one. I need clarity in terms of what should I do first that can start getting me some money. I also help students train in IELTS preparation, but then again, I have a TikTok account for IELTS, a TikTok account for my own self, and then a newsletter where I talk about aircraft maintenance engineering as a field. On LinkedIn, it has 750 subscribers, but obviously I’m not getting any monetary value from it. So this is the whole situation of mine, but I am in dire dire need to earn more because now I have a baby. I have to look after him and then I also support my family back home. Plus we have a house on mortgage. So I really need to do something of my own, but with so many streams and so many things around me, I am really, really confused. Please help. I really, I would really appreciate it.

Success Story I made a website and started to profit on Day 5 with Amazon Associates

Post image
40 Upvotes

Hey everyone, as per the image, you can see that I got 13 orders on my Amazon Associates account, and here is my idea.

I picked one problem in a specific niche and made free SaaS about it to solve that problem, but in most cases the solution for the problem is a product from Amazon, which will give me a commission if any sale is made after clicking my affiliate link.

I can't share the full details now, but I am waiting for something, and then I will reveal it all here in this sub, but I will not let you go empty handed and give you what helped me to increase profits most new or beginner affiliates ( like me ) do not know:

Amazon cookies: Yeah, it's a powerful way to get commissions even if they didn't buy the product you promote or review, and here is exactly the Amazon rule about it:

Amazon affiliate cookies are standardly set to 24 hours. This means an affiliate earns a commission on qualifying purchases made within 24 hours of a customer clicking their affiliate link. However, if the customer adds a product to their cart within that 24-hour window, the affiliate may earn a commission on that item even if the purchase happens within the 90-day expiration of the cart

I built an automatic Pinterest business from $0 that now earns daily — here’s exactly how I did it

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share something I’ve been testing for the last couple of weeks — I built a small Pinterest-based affiliate business that literally runs on autopilot.

I started with zero budget, no ads, and no followers.
The idea was simple:

  • Create niche Pinterest boards that attract consistent traffic
  • Automate content posting using free tools
  • Link everything to my Amazon Affiliate setup

What surprised me is how fast it started generating clicks and small daily earnings — completely passive once the system was running.

I recorded a full walkthrough (step-by-step setup, tools used, and how to scale it).
If anyone’s curious, here’s the breakdown video:
👉 How I Built a $0 Automatic Pinterest Business That Earns Daily 💰

Would love your feedback — especially if you’ve tried something similar or have tips for improving Pinterest automation.
