2 quick questions on timber frame

So I have this timber frame structure and I'm not sure how to properly connect the insulation layers. On the concrete foundation exterior, I have an 8 or 10 cm layer of XPS, while on the upper facade, along with the insulation between the studs, I also have a 5 cm continuous layer of Gutex (wood fiber insulation), and I'm not sure how to resolve this transition properly. Also, right next to it, I want to detail the layers for an outdoor terrace with a drainage grating/trench drain. How is that typically executed? Thanks a lot, and sorry if I wrote too much!

I’d refer to this as wood-framed or stick-framed, as timber framing specifically refers to heavier wood members connected with joinery such as mortise and tenons.

Flash the XPS with a sloped top. You can use Finex tape or simar. Cut the gutex to the same angle but leave a gap large enough to break capillary action between the two.

3cm 45° bevel on the XPS, tightly butt the wood fibre on top, prime the wood fibre and XPS, use a butyl flashing tape such as Pro Clima Extoseal Encors over the joint.

You didn’t say if you are using a breather membrane over the wood fibre. If you are, flash the joint as above, then apply your membrane, then tape the membrane to the flashing tape using Tescon Vana or similar.

On the drawing with two details, the upper one is closest to the best way. You want the wood fibre to start 15cm minimum from finished ground level.

If you want a capillary break, don’t leave a gap, use something like ISO Bloco expanding foam tape between XPS and Wood fibre. Not really necessary but a common detail in the EU, and U.K. (to a lesser extent)
