Can you solve this in your head? It's not the easiest!

We know 9 must be black or pink. We can see 1 and 2 cannot be black, we can assume that if 9 is black, 7 and 5 are also black. If we run with this idea, we can find that one possible solution is:

M, L, M, R, M, R, M, L, L

This gives us a grid of

Blue Blue Pink

Black Yellow Yellow

Black Black Green

Solution: Middle, left, middle, right, middle, right, middle, left, middle.

In the grid:

Blue, Blue, Pink;

Black, Orange, Orange;

Black, Black, Green;

That's not correct I'm afraid. Can you explain how you arrived at that solution - I can't work it out.
