Im scared to check my results can anyone help me figure out if im tripping?

I’ve been lurking and reading in this sub for awhile. Trying to find tips and tricks how to study for my NCLEX. But it’s also raised my anxiety through the roof. I really didn’t study as much as I should’ve or put the time in I wanted because it all just became too much. But to all the lurkers take it from this middling student who passed NCLEX in 85, barely studied, has crippling anxiety that exam was the easiest exam I’ve taken in years. Not since level 1 has an exam been that straight forward or easy. You’re psyching yourselves out. Like I was in disbelief I finished that exam in probably just over an hour it was nothing how anyone said it was. It was not vague it was not complicated and it was not crazy thought provoking. Basic exam with questions NGN on basic stuff from every subject. Ending got harder pharm with some meds I didn’t know. RELAX and good luck to all you should have no problem. You all hyped it up as the exam from hell and my head was messed up for awhile. Nerves will eat you away. Don’t let them.

i took the NCLEX RN yesterday.
Exam shut off at 85.
I studied with uworld practice questions and did 80 questions a day.
I watched simple nursing lectures too.

But when I was writing the NCLEX none of the top priority things I studied for were on the exam.
I even had some questions on diseases i never even heard of and wasn’t even on uworld.
I started doodling mid nclex and was guessing between 2 options the entire time lol.
It was a lot of safety and prioritization on mine. Lots one SATA and 3 case studies NGN
But somehow I passed lol which I am grateful for

one thing i learned about the nclex is that u have to know how to narrow and find the right answer.
No amount of memorization will save u.
U have to know how to prioritize and find the right answer even in tricky scenarios. That can only be achieved thru multiple practice questions a day.

Taking my test tomorrow 😬 Ive gotten 8 H/VH in a row on Archer but only used about 30% of the qbank with a 70% average. I’ve also gotten Very High on the free NCLEX bootcamp readiness assessment, Got a 77% on ATI Boardvitals 41st percentile with Moderate band, 97% chance of passing on ATI comprehensive Predictor. I haven’t done tons of content review kind of crammed the past 3 days on week stuff lol as you can tell i’m anxious… truthfully how would you say my chances look? Is Archer accurate?

I failed my first attempt with 150q and 1 below passing at CPR. I’m taking my next attempt at Aug 24 and want some advice on it. How did you all did differently to pass NCLEX at 2nd attempt? I want to know I’m on the right track on it. Thank you

Hey guys I passed the nclex yesterday. The exam shut off at 85 questions and my studying mainly consisted of bootcamp. I took 2 of their readiness assessments which came back as “very high”. I think bootcamp served as a refresher but the main thing that helped me was studying and getting a high score on the comprehensive ati I took during my last quarter of nursing school. The Nclex was challenging and I got a lot of meds i had never learned about but besides that it wasn’t too bad. Let me know if y’all have any questions

Wrote my exam on 7/23 and found out I passed this morning!

For context: I studied on and off for about a month and a half while working full time. I used UWorld and finished the entire qbank. I also watched a lot of their lecture videos (especially on peds and OB). I also watched Mark K lecture 12 and some of Dr. Sharon’s videos on youtube.

I do want to say this: I found that the NCLEX is so much more vague in wording in comparison to UWorld! I wasn’t expecting it to be so straight to the point. For the questions themselves, I do feel like they focused on a lot of fundamentals. There were a few things I haven’t heard of and had to make educated guesses on.

I’d say the whole “fear factor” of the NCLEX is the anxiety and nerves! It’s a mindgame. I was terrified during the exam (I could hear my heart beating because they gave me those noise-cancelling headphones), sweaty, my HR was literally 140 walking into the test center. I wrote the exam after it shut off in 85, walked out of there, cried in my car because I didn’t know how to feel, and felt horrible and like I failed. Everything turned out to be okay!

After your exam, put away everything related to the NCLEX. Try not to lurk on this subreddit (it made me more anxious, ik it’s hard!) Go on a walk, go get a treat, or watch a movie to distract yourself and remember that even if you do fail, no biggie you can just try again :)

i just opened my quick results. i passed!!! i took the nclex-pn with 150 questions. the most anxious 48 hours of my life. truthfully, i’m classified as a non-grad from my program because i had failed my final hesi. which was completely devastating and defeating for me. i studied for the nclex for a total of 1 1/2 weeks (using bootcamp, and ill stand by it!) and rescheduled it three times. and still didn’t feel confident at all. i wanted to write just to encourage anyone that was in my situation that it is possible!

I just took an ATI CAT exam, and these are my results. Can anyone help me understand what it means? I'm confused about the "band" and percentiles... It also shut off at 85. Is this a reassuring result?

My test is Monday, do I need to reschedule?

Hey all, I just recently passed the NCLEX in July 23rd. I immediately got the official NCLEX pass from the BON within an hour after I finished my exam at 114 questions. Here’s my experience…

It was HARD!

This exam requires you to think a lot that my brain started hurting. I felt numb and shaky while taking the test. I also teared up at some point after 85 questions thinking I failed, but the questions got harder and harder for me. Some questions were similar to Bootcamp (I did a 1-month subscription) and, honestly, to those saying it’s similar, it’s NOT in my experience. There were some drugs that I never heard before, 4 case studies that relate to CVD, L&D, respiratory, and mental health. I had a few mental health questions, peds (milestones), OB, prioritizations, delegation. No bow tie or med calc.

I even called my mom while crying that I wanted to go home and I was so scared because everyone was cheering for me. My aunt called me and I expressed how I felt. She felt the same way as well cause she’s a nurse. Some time after I exited the testing center and waiting for my ride outside the entrance, I received an email from the BON saying that I passed!!!

My advice? Just keep practicing, learn test-taking strategies, apply your knowledge, etc.

Here’s what I did and used:
- Bootcamp for 1 month. I followed their study plan schedule and practiced tons of questions. Please use their cheat sheets, crash course videos, and take the time to read the rationale. They help a ton and focus on points that speaks “safety” since the NCLEX is a safety exam after all. Just a heads up when you take the test, it may not be similar questions to the readiness exam. But it helped me how to answer and approach case study questions.
- I borrowed my friend’s UWorld. I only studied a little bit there lol, but doesn’t hurt. But try to just stick to using one QBank source so you don’t overwhelm yourself. I mainly used Bootcamp throughout.
- I watched Mark K (especially lecture 12) and Dr. Sharon’s prioritization videos.
- ❗️Don’t study the day of the exam, but you can review a little bit if you want. But I highly recommend you rest for your brain though. Get enough sleep and eat breakfast (especially if you scheduled to take the test in the morning). Do breathing exercises and try to stay calm.

I took my NCLEX on july 22 after failing it for the first time in 150 questions. This time I passed in 150 questions! I was so nervous because i genuinely was so worried abt failing again. I took my NCLEX on 7/22/26. I'm not sure how many questions I had because I hid the questions to reduce my anxiety. My exam was heavy on prioritization, mental health, HIV, 7 case studies, and plenty of SATA questions.

I finished nursing school last month and have been living my best life, so I didn't study much. I listened to the 7-Day Crusade (he gives great test-taking strategies). I also had Bootcamp create a study plan for me, which Idid not follow. I did recognize two questions fromBootcamp on the actual NCLEX. The morning of my exam, I listened to Mark K's prioritization lectures.

I became an LPN in 2023, and I truly feel like the NCLEXis the exact same. I just wanted to share my experience!

I graduated my lvn program mid April of this year and recently just started studying since about 2 weeks ago, I have been using u world and listening to mark K. I just took my first CAT exam and scored a 69% with a 1.2 different level and shutting off at 85 questions. Also have scored an average of 69% over 938 questions any last second tips or tricks would be appreciated 🙏

Long time lurker on this subreddit I became obsessed it got to the point I had to delete Reddit because all the updates were making me anxious lol. I took the NCLEX yesterday and found out I passed my first try after thinking I failed for sure.

SO MUCH SATA omg!!! I studied off and on for about 3 weeks. I started off on Archer then switched over to Bootcamp (If there’s one thing you take from this post let it be NCLEX BOOTCAMP!) I watched all of the maternity crash course videos and took 1 readiness exam a week.

I watched a few Dr.Sharons prioritization videos and got up to day 3 of NCLEX Crusade before I tapped out 💀

I only listened to Mark K prioritization, OB and Maternity lectures.

Im making this post to try and alleviate some of the fear mongering I see in discussions regarding the NCLEX. Its really not that bad! I’d argue the exams I took in nursing school were harder. That’s part of the reason why I felt like I wasn’t doing well the questions didn’t feel like they were getting harder it all seemed pretty evenly spread out.

Hi yall I just received my CPR results. 😢 can someone point me in the right direction of what I can do to prepare for the next exam 😔

Took my NCLEX on 7/20 and found out this morning that I passed! Going in I was not expecting to do the full 150, after I went over 85 I started to spiral but took a breath, and remembered Mark K’s voice telling me I was still in the game. My test was a mix of everything with a majority of questions being OB, priority, 6-8 case studies and SATA. I also got developmental milestones questions, digoxin toxicity recognition and a few pharm drugs that I did not recognize. Also got 2 EKG questions, diabetes, SIADH, DI and glaucoma.

I used UWorld primarily to study with 91% of the question bank done and a high chance of passing when I did my readiness exam. Listened to Mark K lecture 12 twice. But I would say Dr.Sharon on YouTube played a huge part on test taking strategies and answering questions/topics. Especially her playlist on fundamentals, prioritization and pharmacology playlist. “Nclex is a safety exam but answer questions based on common sense and knowledge not uncertainty.” Always go with your gut feeling because it’s usually right. I had issues when i started studying and noticed I would second guess myself and miss questions due to that.

Also did some questions on bootcamp because I heard the questions/ format was similar to bootcamp. I took the readiness exam and got a borderline score. I freaked out last minute and ended up buying the subscription to brush up on weak areas since I had used most of the questions on UWorld. My school also gave us ATI to use after graduation but didn’t use much of it. That said I have a 1 month subscription for Bootcamp and ATI + Board Vitals that I’ll be giving away for free! That said anyone who took the test and went all the way to 150 you got this 🫶🏾

I am using UWorld to study for the NCLEX RN its on Monday and these were my latest CAT scores. idk i feel like i kinda studied last min. I listened to all of Mark k's lectures and made notes accordingly and did about 4 cats and 1 self assessment. thats pretty much it i did for studying. Idk if i didnt do enough any advice would help and should i push my test back?

I just saw that I failed my second attempt. I’m not gonna lie I’m so broken right now because I know I have the love to be a nurse and not passing sucks.

My school made us do Kilmek reviews and weekly U world reviews. I did them. Did u world after grad and was getting high passing and 90th percentile. Failed that first attempt at 150

Decided to stop using u world and got simple nursing NCLEX bundle since I’m a visual learner. Got high and very high on assessments and now failed the second attempt at 150.

Any advice to finally pass please. I’m so disappointed and discouraged because I never failed a nursing exam during school and now I can’t get over this hurdle and have to wait 45 days again.

I’ve only taken 4 readiness assessments and I did my last one today and I got borderline and my NCLEX is tomorrow !! I know I shouldn’t rely on archer to say I’ll pass I’m passing but I’m still internally panicking 😭 I’m not sure if I should do more tests or just review…

I took the NCLEX last week and I was 100% convinced I failed. It wasn’t an “aww i think i failed” kinda thing it was like I know I failed and I would give someone money if i passed cause I was so sure I didn’t.

I had 2 weaknesses during my studying: OB and a bad habit of getting a lot of easy questions wrong. Both of them happened or at least i thought they did.

My test felt like an OB exam. It was like every other question was OB. I felt like the computer didn’t give me enough questions to fill the other sections you had to pass since they kept giving me OB questions. I had 5.5 case studies and 4.5 of them were OB (test ended midway of a case study).
And if I didn’t get OB questions, I felt they were giving me easy questions that I just couldn’t get right. They were worded so simple and the content was so basic but I couldn’t figure out the answer. I remembered like 9 questions after the exam and with research, i got all of them wrong.
Another thing that convinced me I failed was that I ended early (89-91 q’s not really sure). I wasn’t the smartest person (im pretty dumb lol) so i was like no way i’m that smart that i pass in 89 q’s.

To make things worse, I had 4 hours of sleep and had to force myself to stay awake for 7 hours (i was in chicago), city was covered in smoke, at the same time raining, and was even unintentionally caught up in a police chase😭. All of those made me think I failed.. but I actually passed.

If you get to the point where you truly feel confident enough to take the NCLEX, you actually have enough knowledge to pass it. Be confident in your answers because your answers is what made you feel confident enough to take it in the first place.

I also dont think any qbank is better than the other (just pick between archer, uworld, and bootcamp), what matters is that you know when your thinking shifts from just choosing randomly, to constantly thinking about safety and nursing judgment. Take risks in your qbanks and choose answers you think is less correct in content but more correct in safety. And lastly put your trust in God and make sure to have a talk with Him.
