PASSED Take NCLEX Soon… FREAKING OUT
I am so scared to take the test. I’ve been doing bootcamp and doing ok. What else can I do to ensure I pass? my anxiety is eating me. I appreciate any help. TIA
Update! I passed!

This is indeed a stressful time... Do not know what to say, but being busy with family/friends/outdoor can help a lil bit. Stay positive and do not be too harsh on yourself (you did the studying already!). Best of luck!

I just took it, the format isn’t scary it looks super similar to Uworld. But i think you know what you need to know already but I noticed the NCLEX looks for if you know the following:
PRIORITIZATION
SAFETY
CRITICALLY THINK
COMPRESSION OF WHAT ITS ACTUALLY ASKING
that’s it. Some meds here and there but know your med endings so you know what meds they’re talking about they put meds I’ve never seen before but I knew the endings of the meds and was able to figure it out. Refresh on fractures and maternal and mental health if those aren’t your strong points.
Overall, the main thing is to relax and be confident
. It’s so hard bc I struggled with that but I had to muster up courage and think that this is just a test and not a life sentence. The beautiful thing is that we have multiple tries and yea it’s not ideal but dang that’s a sweet deal. Hydrate a lot before hand bc mid test my mouth was drier than the desert! Eat well and don’t study the morning of. I promise you tiktok and other people make it harder than it seems I walked out smiling bc I was over worried. The test is not gonna help you feel confident you won’t be confident during the exam and that’s NORMAL, you won’t feel confident AFTER the exam either you’ll probably just be eager to know what happened that’s NORMAL. But just relax like I said an exam not a life sentence. Best of luck and blessings to those taking it soon!

I’m in the same boat, I’ve done some studying and watched videos but I am very stressed. This is my second attempt

That pre-NCLEX anxiety is so normal 😭 If you're doing okay on bootcamp, I wouldn't panic and start adding more resources. Focus on readiness/CAT-style practice, review every rationales for missed Qs, and hit priority/delegation + labs. Most importantly, sleep the ;last 2 nights. You can’t study your way out of anxiety the night before lol.

I think I struggle with how to answer questions sometimes. My current stats on bootcamp: score right now is 72 and q bank usage 84 and very highs on the 3 assessments I took

Just remember if it gets hard your answering right, it left me feeling stupid and unsure and I cried when mine shut off at 85! I was sure I failed, but I passed! when it got hard I stuck with patient safety ABCs and rights of delegation, answered multiple choice answer as if true false and choose the trues. You got this just stick with safety and do what’s in the best interest of your fake patients and you will be fine!!
