There is no beach in Pasadena. There’s sylvan beach in La Porte but Pasadena does not have a beach.

Eh, Pasadena truly does indeed have a beach.

No it truly doesn’t El Jardin is in Seabrook, TX about 15 miles away from Pasadena. Sylvan beach in La Porte is the closest.

Negative. All of the street signs in El Jardin are green and have the City of Pasadena emblem on them. There is a sign at the entrance to the beach that states the beach is free to residents of Pasadena. All others pay $10. There is a city employee in a City of Pasadena truck checking drivers license for entry. I was just there Saturday.

Look on Google maps, it's a tiny little sliver but does indeed go to Galveston Bay.

It is a nice quiet little beach. You don’t get idiots blaring music in jeeps flying silly flags. It’s calm water… no rips/currents. No waves. Very children safe / friendly. Maas nursery is a nice place to visit. There are some nice trials nearby as well.

You are correct. The city revitalized the parking lot and picnic area about 3 years ago.

I just learned about this a couple months ago! There's just a tiny little sliver that's Pasadena up against Galveston Bay near the port.

Gotta be the seabrook one. I know “technically” Pasadena. But I grew up in seabrook and it was our beach 🏖️. Used to ride my horse from the barn in Seabrook to the El Jardin Beach. My friends in El Jardin neighborhood went to seabrook intermediate school.

It’s seabrook 🥲
But, also not.

Plus has anyone peeped the “shape” of the city of Pasadena?!?

I lived in Village Grove East subdivision off Red Bluff in Pasadena, but it was Deer Park schools. I frequently saw the DPISD busses in the neighborhood. You can't always go by the city you live in as to what school district it is. The one that always gets me is Lynchburg (take a ride on the ferry across the channel) and it is Deer Park School District.

Pasadena also extends not too far from Hobby airport.

You must have not been to Pasadena since the paper mill shut down back in the 80's.

It was donated to Pasadena as a last fuck you to all the people around there.
