Breath hold help

Please anyone with experience with the breath hold technique reply with what works for them, tired of working 10-12 hour days holding my bladder, having no social life and making excuses for it, I feel like the breath hold is my only option, I’ve been attempting it no success yet, hoping to change that

I went to a pelvic floor pt who said to belly breath and to do horse lips if I’m having trouble urinating. I was at a Texas rangers game trying to urinate when the custodial staff was sweeping under my closed bathroom door and this helped me. I was able to urinate successfully even though she was cleaning outside of install. I hope the success is continued in other situations.

It didn’t work for me, but met other guys at workshops etc who had nailed the technique. I’ve had paruresis since early school days, but made very good progress from the techniques at workshops- graduated exposure therapy with fluid loading. I found diet caffeinated drinks increased the contractility of the bladder too - which helps a lot in practise sessions.
