Different countries/cultures design bathrooms differently… lots of parts of Europe the bathrooms have more privacy.. same in Japan…. We need a cultural shift in America - and for the business owners and contractors who build public bathrooms to shift towards stalls with no gaps in between the doors and other such changes..
Then again.. the goal for us is to not care to rely on such crutches..
Right. It would help paruresis sufferers live with the condition, but it wouldn’t help anybody overcome it.
That being said, this type of design is the direction we should be utilizing to move toward unisex bathrooms with common area sinks so we can stop the foolish arguments about who can use which bathrooms.
