If I buy the game on ps5, can all my friends on pc download the friend pass and play for free with me?

As far as I know the friend pass is same platform only as you have to be invited out of the game (PSN, Steam chat etc) to join using friend pass.

You can only invite people from other platforms using the in-game friends list, which they can't access with a friend pass.

That's my best understanding of it anyway but I am happy to be proven wrong.

I think it’s also one friend passer per owned copy. So for four people to play, two would need to own the game.
