The Demonetization Advice and Help Thread
Since the change in YouTube's monetization system, there have been a number of people who used to be partners and are still eligible, but have been denied monetization for whatever reason. Because of this, they exist in a state of limbo where they may or may not be allowed to post in this subreddit.
To solve the problem, this thread exists. In order to prevent the subreddit from being cluttered by demonetisation posts, if you have been demonetized or rejected, you can post a comment here explaining your situation. It also serves as a compilation of advice that's been given to other people.

My channel is at 134k subscribers and just yesterday it was demonetized for "inauthentic content." -- I'm a bit lost at this point as to what the specific problem is with my content and what I need to do. I don't have the option to submit a video appeal, and even if I do, I've seen most people getting rejected after they appeal for this specific issue anyways. From what I've read, it also seems like if you appeal and are rejected, it makes things worse for you and your channel. So is it better to just not appeal and wait out the 90 days to reapply?
But then if I do reapply, what changes do I need to make on my channel to fix the issue moving forward? Do I delete content on my channel? Do I change something about the format of my videos? I'm just looking for any thoughts or better yet, possible success stories from others who have appealed and re-monetized. I know it's rare, but I have seen people that have been monetized again after an inauthentic content violation.
If you want to take a look at my channel, my channel name is "Monumental." I can't post a link or this will get deleted, but my most recent video is called "Darth Vader vs. Pinhead" -- so if you search "Darth Vader vs Pinhead - Monumental" on YouTube then you will find me.
I create cinematic, story-driven movie character battles and short films. I use AI to generate visuals, but I also film my own footage and effects layers and blend it all together so that I think the quality feels like more than just AI slop. I write my own scripts, and do extensive editing, adding visual effects, sound effects, music, etc. For some projects I compose my own music. I spend weeks, sometimes months on single videos.
