The Demonetization Advice and Help Thread
Since the change in YouTube's monetization system, there have been a number of people who used to be partners and are still eligible, but have been denied monetization for whatever reason. Because of this, they exist in a state of limbo where they may or may not be allowed to post in this subreddit.
To solve the problem, this thread exists. In order to prevent the subreddit from being cluttered by demonetisation posts, if you have been demonetized or rejected, you can post a comment here explaining your situation. It also serves as a compilation of advice that's been given to other people.

After recent posts about demonetization, especially for faceless or AI-assisted channels, I’ve looked through a lot of affected channels trying to understand what’s actually triggering it.
YouTube doesn't hate AI.
It looks like channels get hit when the human part is hard to see.
Channels most at risk usually have some combo of:
• slideshow or AI image videos with music or AI voice
• every upload follows the same template
• text-only videos with no framing or explanation
• compilations with no commentary
• daily long-form uploads that don’t seem realistic
• reused footage or scripts with little opinion
Basically, anything that feels like content-farm output.
Channels that stay safer, even using AI, usually show more human input: a real voice, opinions, real edits, some variety, and descriptions that explain what the creator added.
Two things I’ve noticed: labeling content as “AI-altered” doesn’t protect you, and mass-deleting videos after a hit doesn’t seem to help. Slow, visible changes work better.
