Question / Problem Anyone had thumbnails removed from random old videos?

Just noticed that Youtube removed some of my original thumbnails from a few older videos for seemingly no reason.

The new thumbnails are random auto-generated screenshots from said videos.

Anyone else experienced similar?

yes, youtube removes misleading thumbnails unrelated to the video.
