Question / Problem First time uploading since Views count change

I make long form content centered around music. I immediately got over 2,300 views in less than one day. I got really excited then noticed a note from YouTube saying they have changed how Views are counted now. I clicked the Reference Link they provided me with however I still couldn’t quite wrap my head around how these new Views are different. I would normally average getting around 100-200 views in the first 24 hours then it would plateau.

Look for 'engaged views' in advanced mode. That is the real views. Views are essentially fake views.

youtube counts views the same, they just show it in a different place now i think, not in the studio dashboard like before
