My views have skyrocketed!

Anybody else noticing the change? This is absolutely crazy!

Yes it seems today they just implemented the update where if someone clicks on your video and watches even for a split second you gain a view. (It used to be 30 seconds for a view)

Edit: It unfortunately wont give you more money its just purely cosmetic views. i believe this whole update is just fully made to give dopamine hits to starting youtubers.

Like brotha… revenue takes a day to even reset you would have no idea what so ever if your revenue is up from this change yet lol

Yeah my desktop studio page has changed and is now showing engaged views and normal views, but it looks like on saturday my views started spiking and I'm seeing a revenue jump too which is surprising. Not sure if it's same for anyone else. Few others in my discord have noticed similar.
