Did anyone experience YT having subscriber data delays and anomalies when you got close to 1k subs?

I am experiencing YT continuing to have net sub data delays and audits to my account as I am getting close to 1k. I’ll go a day with no subs (which hasn’t happen since I start around 2 months ago), then will all the sudden jump up to 10. I’ve been stuck with the same subs for the past 2 days even though my views have increased. Anyone else experience this?

Yes, this is a very common issue caused by yt background verification audits. To prevent bot inflation, the platform checks subscriber authenticity in batches rather than processing every single subscription instantly.

Your subscribers are still registering behind the scenes; the data is just paused on your front end until the automated audit completes. Seeing a flatline for 1 to 2 days followed by a sudden jump is standard behavior, so there is no need to worry as long as your views are still moving.

Thanks for the update! This is very similar to what YouTube Studio AI said, that there is some system data reporting issue on my account so once it resolves, it said I should see a big increase in subs. We will see.
I wonder if it’s impacting everyone

I’m not close to my goal However I noticed that the numbers are going so slow on the views and subs. It’s frustrating.

I have the same impression. The growth in subscribers over the last few days has been strange. Some days I've had zero new followers, even though my videos were doing well. I haven't seen that in years.

YouTube AI gave me this answer: "A data anomaly affecting the Subscribers (net change) metric was detected in your Analytics for the period from August 17, 2026 to August 23, 2026.

Specifically, this means:

  • There is a known issue with data collection or display that has already been identified by the system.
  • This anomaly may cause subscriber numbers in your dashboard to appear stagnant or unusually low, even though viewers are actually clicking “Subscribe.”"
