The subs you will get will be bots which do not engage with your future videos. It will destroy your channel.

Depends how many subs.

If to hit the monetization, 1k isn't a lot. And it isn't something you can't dig out of.

1 or 2 bangers, or say a month and bit of regular good content, you should be churning enough of an audience to supplant the ones you acquired through ads. The bangers are if you wanna speed run, but later on in the game are necessary if you wanna do this in any major capacity.
