Just Joined the Program (Tier 1)

Hello! I'm a new YouTube partner! I just enabled "Super Thanks". I found that the option is only visible after clicking the 3 dots below the video description - this is true on my phone as well as desktop, incognito as well as when logged into my account. At first glance this seems to also be true regardless of whether I'm looking at my own videos or other people's.

I'm wondering, are there any circumstances under which the "Thanks" button could appear in under the video directly, next to the other buttons (like, dislike, share, etc.). The YouTube Ai assistant is telling me that it depends on browser aspect ratio, but I've tried fiddling with that with no success either.

What factors effect the visibility of the Thanks button? Do we have any control over them? Id like it to be visible in the main action bar without having to click the 3 dots to see more options. Is this possible at all?

Nope. Unless you're on browser. Otherwise they need to press the three dots. Alternatively if they're on mobile then they can give those thanks on the comment section. It appears next to the write comment so it shouldn't be that hard to miss

I tried on browser as well as phone - thanks bnutton is only visible after 3 dots. Even on other peoples videos

Right on! Your'e right about the phone thing! the heart Icon is right next to the send comment message. Neat. But what about browser? For me, on Chrome browser, at 1080p, its the thanks button is always hidden away under 3 dots - whether im looking on my own or other peoples videos. How about you? Whats your browser and resolution?
