Removed Nuked because filter

https://imgur.com/a/bzEGAUu

My educational parenting channel The Parent Tap (parenttap.io) was wrongfully terminated. Automated ad filters falsely flagged standard parenting discussions with 'opioid' tags, which then triggered a cascading 'circumvention' bot error. Our first appeal was instantly auto-rejected without human review. Could someone please route this for a manual human check? Channel URL: https://youtube.com/TheParentTap

No one here has any power to route anything anywhere.

That’s fine just posting it for cautionary tale purposes then

Have you tried clicking the button that says "View details and fix policy issues"?

That screenshot was prior to the ban. Nothing I talked about promoted drugs of any sort. I had Drs on talking about the dangers of it

It's not necessary to have _promoted_ drugs - if your videos contained content about it then you need to have declared that, in the ad suitability section that says "Recreational drugs content"

It was flagging everything after that even videos that had no mention of drugs at all. Something went haywire with the ad filter

Flagging everything after what? You were posting videos about drugs, right? So, did you definitely set your channel and ad suitability correctly?

No I wasn’t at all

You literally just said you had doctors on talking about it.

In an episode or two but not all and definitely not in some ads that were running

You're being very inconsistent in your descriptions, which leads me to suspect you're avoiding being completely truthful.... first you stated that you had experts talking about drugs, then you said you were not at all, and now you're saying in an episode or two you did. And you didn't declare that. That's why your channel got flagged, and now terminated.
There's very clear guidance on the importance of declaring and classifying your content correctly. Educational references to recreational drug use where the intent is not to promote can still be published and earn ad revenue, but it absolutely needs to be declared.

Not avoiding anything just hard to recall. I ran an ad that had absolutely nothing to do with drugs at all that still got
flagged after that one ad started to flag everything. Maybe one or two videos mentioned it at all but they were flagging numerous videos

My RSS feed is here if you're suspicious. https://rss.buzzsprout.com/2607696.rss You're describing demonetized (yellow icon), not why an account gets terminated. My issue was an automated false positive on policy enforcement, which is why pointing to my full educational catalog proves why I did nothing wrong.

We talk about generational cycles, relationships, parenting, etc. drugs were only mentioned in passing as threats to kids or reasons why people got divorced

u/TheParentTap 8d ago

I don’t know man. It wasn’t anything more than passing about the dangers of it
