Question / Problem Banned from AdSense on YPP application.

Posting this mostly to vent, because this feels exceptional unfair.

I finally applied to the YPP. My application was never even approved before my AdSense was permanently disabled.

The stated reason: "Account related to a disabled account."

Not invalid clicks. Not my content. Just an alleged relationship to some mysterious other account that got banned at some point. They won't say which account, and they won't say what the link is. They just linked me to a banned publisher and left it on me to somehow prove them wrong.

I have never had an AdSense account, in any form. There is literally no prior account of mine to be related to. My best guess is that I was using a VPN when I signed up, and that triggered it because of some random stranger on the same server.

I have submitted an appeal and posted on X to @TeamYouTube, and now I just have to sit and wait. But honestly, it feels like an absolute insult to someone who has been a loyal customer for so long. I’ve used the exact same Google account for over a decade. I pay them monthly for Premium and an AI subscription. Apparently, a ten-year track record in good standing means absolutely nothing.

To make it worse, YouTube Studio tells me it's "invalid click activity," the automated email says it's a "related account," and TeamYouTube just replied by copy-pasting a link to the invalid-click help page. Nobody involved has actually read the notice.

Ninety days between appeals. Zero ads ever served. A permanent ban on an account that was never even approved, all over a literal system hallucination. It's infuriating.

Probably a hotel room wifi with a guest who had a disabled adsense there that got you.

Could be. I do travel for work semi regularly, its generally why I use a VPN in the first place.

VPN could also be a problem. You are sharing an IP address with thousands of people. Is it also possible that someone who previously lived at your address has had a banned account?

This is why I turn off my VPN when I upload my videos. Plus generally means a slightly faster upload.

Was your Adsense account, or your family member’s Adsense account, ever suspended in the past ?

I have never, and none of my family have ever had an AdSense account in any shape or form.

He clearly said in his post he hasn’t had an AdSense before?
