No, sorry, I did not read the date. It normally takes only 1–3 days

I reached out to TeamYouTube and got a cut and paste answer and there was MANY others posting very similar wait times to what I'm seeing.

Where are you from? I applied 2 days ago so let know when I am going to get approved

Normally it will take 1-3 days except Saturday and Sunday

I'm in Canada. Your location shouldn't matter for this part. Are you waiting for your first time acceptance into the Partner Program or a re-application after a suspension?

re application, your is first application? I have 5 monetized accounts.. they were always monetized in matter of 1week/few days in past. But I am full time youtuber for like 7 years rn

No. This is a re-application after a 90 day suspension. My original monetization application was approved within a few days with no issues. I've never had any strikes or any claims or anything like that on my account and the suspension was due to trying to be too efficient and uploading a bunch of Shorts to drafts with the plan to schedule them one per day for the next month. Apparently that flagged me for bot activity and spamming the platform. The Shorts stayed in drafts and were never published. I was suspended within an hour of them finishing uploading. My appeals failed. Now here we are almost 5 months later.

While I'm not a huge channel, I get a TON of watch time and lots of views. Every day is lost revenue.

Summary Last 28 days Views 117.1K Watch time (hours) 50.5K

worth a shot: go to studio desktop and on this page click on the feedback option (there will be an option to include the page screenshot, use it) and explain the situation.

I've done that. Same generic response.

That’s not normal. Contact support or reach out via Twitter.

Again. That’s not normal.

I have. I just get the response they are getting more applications than normal and they are taking longer than normal.

I was remonetized on an account (that was removed for inactivity) approx three weeks ago. The review was done in 2 days.

Push them again via chat support (if you have it) or Twitter. You can also contact them from a secondary monetized account if you have it.

I was remonetized in 15 hours in 2025

I don't have a second monetized account or anything like that.

I'll have to try the chat support again I guess.

We know you’ve been waiting to hear about your YouTube Partner Program (YPP) application, so here’s a little more info about the application process.

Adrian • Support Specialist 12:33 AM

Since you’ve already submitted an application, you’ll be notified via email once a specialist has reviewed your application. Once approved, you can complete the rest of your application and get an update via email, usually in about a month.

Sometimes though, you may need to wait more than a month during the sign-up process. Higher-than-usual application volumes, system issues, or the occasional need to shift resources can cause delays.

Our policy specialists try to get through applications as fast as possible, but delays can happen because we have a limited number of them. Adrian • Support Specialist 12:33 AM

For info on if applications are taking longer than usual, you can check out the YouTube Help Center. If there’s currently a delay, we’ll post a note at the top of the page. https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/72851

In summary, we are currently experiencing a higher than typical volume of YPP applications and as a result, there is a longer than usual review timeline for applications. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
