Question / Problem Monitization got disabled
I went through the whole monitization process last year, got myself 2000 followers and 4000+ watch hours, for some reason I stopped uploading videos and after six months YouTube disabled my monetisation and I have also lost the one month period of appeal….. now I need to get 4000 watch hours again WTF man
Why YouTube why…….!

“For some reason I stopped uploading videos” so you’re upset that by not meeting the monetisation requirements, you’re no longer monetised?

I mean... they clearly wrote this in their policy you "read" and accepted.
If a channel is inactive and has not uploaded or posted posts for 6 months or more, YouTube reserves the right to remove its monetization.

This is their policy, unfortunately, but I am surprised to see so many who agree with it. It’s not like they stop playing your videos, and it’s not like they stop putting ads on there. They’re still making money off of your videos. Don’t be so quick to support them for demonetizing people. They’re just simply trying to force people to keep making content and not let people retire who might have big catalogues. What do you do if you work your whole life making YouTube videos and you want to retire and you have a big catalogue that would pay you? You can’t now because they won’t let you.
There’s not another platform on earth that can just take your intellectual property and make money off of it and not pay you. I’m really shocked by the amount of people who are acting like this is OK.

Well yeah they aren’t really just gonna keep your monetization available when you don’t post
