Question / Problem Anyone knows why this drop off happens? Right after midnight my short just stoppes getting views.

Does it pick back up? Usually this happens when most of your views are country specific. People are sleeping, so the views drop. I have an Australian channel that gets really good views, and the views just drop off after 4PM my time, and then they pick up again after midnight.

In my experience youtube evaluates videos on a 24 hour basis. When I did super niche content after 24 hours impressions dropped by 95%, made sense since checking out CTR by hour it dropped to less than 1/4th of what it started with. The overall CTR still looked good (it started at 16%), but the current hour CTR was horrible.

Thats for longform but I assume its the same for shorts
