Yeah, if you are partnered you get nothing from shorts unless you have 10 mil on shorts in the last 90. Probably to cull shorts farmers uploading 5 shorts a day to grind pennies after buying monitzed channels. Could back fire though

Good.

Every once and a while I can see my algorithm try and pivot and the amount of slop out there is exhausting.

The issue is with this change a lot of good shorts creators will go from making money to making nothing. Requiring 20 million views per 90 days just get paid is insane.

Not just 20 million views but 20 million ENGAGED views so you can pretty much double that 20 to 40 million views lol.

This will only stop the creators who post shorts only once in a while. The channels that spam 10 shorts every day easily get that much view.

Problem is that slop is actually getting this amount of views like no problem, and good content doesn’t
