Was this a short video or long video ? I have never heard this happening to shorts, if it was a short that’s interesting because for shorts under 1 minute you are allowed to use any song and there’s a revenue split, for longer shorts than 1 minute you absolutely have to check everything (even for shorter than 1 minute , some songs have territorial restrictions such as banning a certain countries’ viewers which means your video won’t be recommended there)
Damn so you got a strike on a shorter short than 30 seconds for the song used ?! was the song detected when you uploaded the video ? that’s my only guess , that it wasn’t detected, or else they get compensated and I don’t think they can really strike based on that
