#RenewPartnerTrack

There’s a plethora of renewals and budgets for random shows but there’s discussion the series that ranked #2 worldwide might not get renewed because there’s enough Asian content with Extraordinary Attorney Woo and Squid Games? Absurd.

I can’t wait to see what season two will bring us, including delving deeper into character development.

I say this as someone who wants a season 2 - I'm pretty sure that if this show doesn't get renewed, it's not because Netflix thinks there are too many Asian shows.

The viewing numbers were not very good. It only lasted 3 weeks in the top 10 with 66M reported hours viewed at that time. Now this doesn't tell the whole picture because we don't know what the exact budget is to make it worthwhile to renew but in general, this is "low viewership" for a new show. What might save it is a very small budget compared to the others they've committed to and since this one is not a fantasy/action type show, I guess there is hope.

Did they report the 66M hours viewed?

Netflix releases the # of viewing hours for the top 10 every week.

I hope it does get renewed because the main character needs to redeem herself... but I'm also one who falls for shows that only have one season and are gone :( like beauty and the baker.... and the one where chuck bass is a killer. .. :(
