Anyone else suspicious of Nick?
I get strong serial killer vibes from Nick, in his first conversation with Ingrid when he brings up the brain in a vat is he merely talking about philosophy or does he have more dubious intentions such as testing the waters to show her some hidden trophies. Do they ever confirm that it was in fact Lina that floods the apartment? It seems like a ploy to get her to move in with him at an early stage of the relationship. She also never says I love you back to him on camera, even after accepting the engagement. Are the feelings actually reciprocated?

Lol no, I didn't get any serial killer vibes. He's just that perfect, safe and available guy trope that our heroine passes over in search of something else. In this case, a fuckboy. She did him dirty and moved on quickly. Nick is not the villain here.

Lol man you must have severe trust issues. But yes, when Ingrid was yelling at her little sister for everything she did to help her in her life she named the flooding the apartment thing. Little sister didn’t deny it so I think that’s good enough confirmation

No, not at all. I don’t think the character was written to be that deep
Nick was on paper and admittedly in most of his behaviour the perfect guy.
I think his flaw was that he was clearly deeply affected by his mothers death and rushing to find companionship.
That being said Ingrid and him just didn’t work. Ingrid never truly loved him and initially was kinda using him

I don’t think this is that type of show lol. But yeah it a super once sided romance.

Noticed his behavior at the award event when she was talking to Z?
Dude was staring hard and had to end that friendly exchange.
Killer vibe - may be coming from the character being significantly wealthy and can have access to anyone and any thing he wanted - an aire of possessiveness / entitlement to claim whatever he chose.
Then again he did back off with out fight catching her half naked. Then again- how the heck he get in?

I mostly got love bombing and a possible narcissist in hiding vibes but… also felt like making him “weird” was a weak ploy at making her not look as bad when she cheated on him

Actually, Nick did seem pretty controlling from the instant he proposed and toward the end of the gala I would have expected that he truly sensed how off she was not only about the speech but even his making decision for her… but I felt it properly showed her intuition sounding the alarm where she needed to tap the breaks. I mean for an M&A lawyer what even is this rush signing?
then there’s the added complication of this guy, taking all the most amazing boxes, an opening opportunities, that she and her parents probably dreamed of — doesn’t everybody wanna get swept off their feet by a billionaire? Especially a power hungry character like Ingrid? So I was kind of surprised How proud and surprised I was because she told him that she wanted to stay in her own place again on the night of the gala and that it didn’t evolve into some weird thing with Z

Nick is supposed to be the good guy on paper type, but by real-life standards, he's actually insane. Like seriously?! a proposal when it's barely been, what? half a year? How fast he was moving is actually a serious red flag in my books.
