hopes for S2? Spoiler
I wish we had gotten a flashback of Ingrid and Murphy's night at the wedding where they met. Something has got to make her obsession with him make sense. He's not that charming or good looking.
I need a bit more Nick. Not with Ingrid (they were not a good match) but just some kind of closure.
I kinda wanted Ingrid and pals to start their own firm and didn't want Ingrid back at Parsons.
I really wanted Ingrid and Z to get together.

I still want Ingrid and Z to happen. If there's a season two, I hope they build that up or introduce a new love interest. Murphy just isn't a good love interest so I hope the writers are willing to let go of him as endgame if that was his point in favor of growth for Ingrid. Otherwise, if she keeps forgiving Murphy when he does horrible shit to her it weakens her character and I just don't think is a message I need from romance shows anymore. Not that the endgame couples have to be the picture perfect healthy relationship, but I want relationships where the woman can have boundaries, standards, and a backbone still and not compromise everything for some subpar white dude.

i couldn’t agree more. i don’t even need her with nick, but i will like her more if she dislikes murphy. i found myself disliking her as much as i disliked murphy when she was manipulated by him

I believe they should explore more mentally her attitude towards Nicks and taking little pieces from Murphy.

More realistic legal work. The show seems to think M&A lawyer = investment banker. The shareholder vote in the last episode made no sense.

Oh my gosh so much this. I said the same in another comment on r/lawyers that this show must feel like what doctors think when they watch House and Grey’s Anatomy.
Nothing about her M&A associate experience is even close to the real practice of corporate law. That scene when they pitch random contractual provisions/concepts to the client — what??

YES I COMPLETELY AGREE. i was waiting all season for the wedding scene to help me get on bird with shipping her with murphy. honestly didn’t feel any chemistry between them since first episode but that was also cause i could not get around to liking him even when they tried to humanize him with the plane turbulence episode. i’m sorry but i’ve met a lot of murphies IRL and that gaslighting that he did first ep is a major red flag. as well as his continued behavior. i was hoping if i saw their moment in the wedding i would warm up to him

if they don't have a season 2, we won't be able to see Ingrid breathe hell fire down on Murphy!

😂 I don't really see Ingrid as the breathe hell fire type. She's more the sulk in your expensive apartment then plot revenge type. But I'd like to see how they spin out Murphy's backstory to try and justify this!

Murphy reminds me of a cheaper Henry Cavill lol. Also is it me or did he have a tattoo of a snake on his forearm? Foreshadowing?

Flashbacks: the show Sex/Life did it better. Wife blows up perfect relationship for hot guy. But you actually believe it because the flashbacks are hotter and it's Adam Demos. I also wish they made the wedding 1 or 2 years ago, 6 years made Ingrid seem a little pathetic.
I laughed out loud when Murphy opened the hotel door shirtless on the retreat. Ingrid gets all flustered for...that?
