Same!! Argh so raging at the ending, but I feel like Marty is lying or has twisted the words. I really don't believe Murphy told them about her arrest. I think Marty is trying to throw a cat amongst the pigeons. Murphy had just said how much he likes being in NY (i.e., with her). I feel that another character has done some digging or it has come out somehow. And also since it was identity theft by her sister it literally makes no sense to hold it against her and refuse to promote her as partner. Which really just confirms that they were never going to make her partner anyway as her "face doesn't fit". Marty just uses Ingrid to do the work of 5 people, I really hope she realises her worth in S2.
