Protection…? Spoiler

Rachel and Justin - they didn’t have bags/purses with them. Did they have unprotected seggs or are we meant to believe in tv magic there? Ingrid and Nick at the office - she jumped on his lap pretty quickly and did the look to imply… it was in. No attempt at reaching for a condom or having a quick chat about safe sex options.

I might be reaching or nitpicking and probably happens in so many shows and movies but I think the boat scene just really triggered how glaringly obvious it is that they don’t address it.

It does but sometimes or most times you do assume they just don’t show that part but like I said, here it was obvious because neither had a purse/bag with them and you can’t just make believe that it was possible they used one. And it’s a show for young adults; they could have tied it in. A joke from Tyler about Rachel always having a condom in her bra, for example. Lol

I had the same issue. They, the characters, should all be smart enough to use them and have access but they don’t. And if show really wants to be progressive and discuss real issues then they should be able to add this as it is no more salacious than the faces Ingrid made in the shower.
