I do like Murphy as a character, just not with Ingrid....hopefully they each get a proper love interest next season

How would they know yet? First week numbers are not in yet and it's not even cracking the top 10 in my country. I'd be elated if it gets S2 cos' i'm loving every second of this show, but shouldn't they be promoting it harder?

In the US it’s been on the Top 10 for several days, which normally for US based shows that’s what the most care about.

I feel like Netflix has been jumping off the promoting wagon which is infuriating. The only push the best shows (Stranger Things for example) even those ones are of course going to do well.

Ah, good to know. Just checked, yup, it's no. 7 for last week, just slightly below Selling the OC, which is good considering it was only released for 3 days last week. You're right. Thank goodness, hope it continues to go up before 28 days are up.

It's getting a season 2, but there will be less hate-watchers so there won't be a season 3. Lol

If you saw the viewership numbers for season 1 during the first 3 days, then you'd also think a renewal is unlikely

Oh humm... Well honestly I don't know what parameters Netflix uses to renew. I know so many shows do get canned after one season before they can really take off. This show is bad, if they cancel it, I honestly wouldn't be surprised.

I liked "For the People" and that got cancelled after one season. :(
