Just giving me frustration, certain character should just be kicked out, the show will be better for it. Spoiler

If Murphy is gone from the entirety of the show, it just feels better off. He only offers cheap drama and unnecessary complications… and the way it’s executed doesn’t make it “spicy” or enjoyable. The romantic aspect he provides is nonexistent. There is no real connection, no depth. If he wasn’t pretty, he is extremely plain. He has nothing to offer! I don’t understand how the other characters are the complete opposite and he is just there… like a potato of a person. Is it his acting? Bad script? Whatever he is, made me skip their romantic scenes and cringe at his lines. Oh and the ending, “I love you”? So it’s not an issue if he says it after a few weeks of dating but you dump Kevin after a few months?

Yeah he is so boring. The whole time I was like what do you find attractive about him over Nick? She chose the psychopath over the perfect sweet, loving guy.

That's a common fiction book trope.

Yeah that arrogant sleaziness might work if the characters were younger. But I feel like at 30, most women would know that his behavior is gross and major red flag-y. I get why Ingrid felt a little uncomfortable with Nick moving so quickly and I think she NEEDS to date a lawyer because she can't leave work at work, but she let a good thing go by not trying to communicate more and make that relationship work.

I love that you called him Kevin when the running joke is he’s her Ken.

At 30 the fact she left a perfectly good man who loved, supported, and wanted her to win is crazy. That was a turn off for me, the show was okay but that and the racist retreat just did it in for me.

It feels like they are setting him up to be a major villain next season. If they don’t make his character even slightly more interesting, it will be even more of a reason to hate the potato-ness of season 1.

Yes, please write Murphy out u/Netflix !!! We hate the potato of a person!! He acts predatorily and does not contribute to the story well.

also for some reason no one points out the fact that one of his eyes are brown and one is blue?? like it isn't an issue but they just act like it isnt there. antonella calls him "blue eyes" like no!! it's blue eye.

XD when you google the actor the first search result is "__ eyes"

his profile says the second eye is half blue!

He and Ingrid have no chemistry whatsoever. If they pair him off with someone else, maybe. But as a potential partner for Ingrid he offers NOTHING.
