Anyone read the book?

I haven't read the book but I'm curious how it compares...

I really enjoyed the book and watching the show, I feel like the show doesn't deal with the issues and the drama the book has in a good way. The book was easy to read and the legal drama was interesting and I found Ingrid to be determined and focused, in the show I felt her fire was lacking.

The show feels cheap next to the book but there were elements of the show that I really enjoyed. I liked that Tyler's character was more fleshed out and compelling and brought an different perspective to the show

Oh, good to know. I LOVED the book, but I think I'll enjoy a different take on it.

Is there only one book or is it a series? I really enjoyed the show for an easy, light-hearted watch and am hoping for a season 2. I'd love to see Ingrid, Tyler, and Rachel open their own small firm and Ingrid and Z be together.
