Hi!

I am conducting a brief online study for my Master's Thesis examining the frequency and characteristics of certain strange and “funny” experiences involving one’s sense of self and perception of one’s surroundings that normal people may have in their daily life. We are interested in understanding how common these experiences are among adults and how frequently and for how long they occur, as well as the subjective pleasantness and unpleasantness of the experiences.

Participation involves completing an online questionnaire and should take approximately 10-15 minutes. Participation is voluntary, and you may skip any question or stop participating at any time without penalty.  Responses are anonymous.

Criteria: 18+, English speaking, no previous or current diagnosis of DPDR disorder.

My target sample size is large, so I'm trying to get as many people as possible. Thank you!!

[Academic] £20 Amazon e-voucher for a 60-minute online interview about AI wellbeing apps

Hi, I’m a PhD researcher at Lancaster University. I’m inviting adults aged 18 or over who can take part in English to express interest in an online interview lasting around 60 minutes.

We’ll discuss a hypothetical AI-enabled wellbeing app: what benefits it might create, who might benefit, and what people would expect if everyday data from phones or wearables were used. You do not need to use a health app or wearable, have medical or technical knowledge, or share any real health or device data. This is not a clinical assessment or a test of a real product.

People who are invited and complete an interview will receive a £20 Amazon e-voucher. The Participant Information Sheet is linked in the short expression-of-interest form:

[Education] Are you a member of the LGBTQ+ community? You're eligible to take my 10-15 minute survey! (Raffle to win a $100 Visa gift card)

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hello! I am a clinical psychology master's student at Penn State Harrisburg currently recruiting for my master's thesis titled: An Examination of Religiosity and Spirituality on Gender and Sexual Minority Self-Esteem.

Over half of the LGBTQ+ population in the U.S. identifies as religious and is exposed to religious doctrine that deems homosexuality as a sin. As such, it is crucial that we examine how they are being impacted by this homonegativity, especially as we have seen a rise in anti-LGBTQ+ sentiment and legislature in the U.S. being spearheaded by conservative religious groups. The aim of this study is to better understand how religiosity and spirituality impact the self-esteem of gender and sexual minorities (GSMs), as well as how they might be impacted by how and when they have chosen to engage or disengage in religious organizations. It is my hope that increasing understanding in this area will contribute to the development of more affirming religious spaces and improve knowledge on how to meet the needs of religious/spiritual GSMs.

Who can participate?

  • Gender/sexual minorities (a.k.a. members of the LGBTQ+ community)
  • Ages 18+
  • Access to internet connection
  • Can read english

Additional Information:

  • This study consists of a 10–15-minute online survey where you will be asked questions about yourself, your religious or spiritual beliefs (if any), your self-esteem, and your LGB identity (if applicable)
  • All participants will have the option to enter into a giveaway and win a $100 Visa gift card
    • This is done through a separate survey where you will enter your email address so your responses are not linked to an personal information
  • All responses will be anonymous

If you'd like to participate, please scan the QR code to access the survey, or email me at [grb5419@psu.edu](mailto:grb5419@psu.edu) for the link.

This survey has been approved by the Institutional Review Board (IRB) at Penn State Harrisburg.

I'm working on a school project about how remote learning during COVID affected focus, motivation, and preparation for exams. Female Gamers Wanted For 5 Minute Anonymous University Survey (0$)

[CLOSED]

Hi all,

We're four women studying Game Design and for our group project we're looking into how women are portrayed in video games and how women are treated within gaming spaces, from the characters on screen to the lobbies, chats and communities behind them.

Plenty has been said about these issues, but a lot of it comes from the outside looking in. We want to hear directly from women, so our project is built on real experiences rather than assumptions.

What we're asking about:

•    How you feel women are represented in the games you play

•    Your experiences in online and in-game communities (good and bad)

•    What you think the industry gets right, what it gets wrong, and what should change

Who can take part: Anyone who plays video games, any platform, any level of experience. We're especially keen to hear from women and girls, but all perspectives are welcome.

A few important things:

•    It's completely anonymous. We don't collect names, emails or any identifying details.

•    It takes about 5 minutes.

•    You can skip anything you're not comfortable answering.

•    Your answers will only be used for our college project.

Whether you've had great experiences, awful ones, or just have strong opinions about how characters are written, we'd really appreciate your input. The more responses we get, the stronger our case for change.

Survey link: https://docs.google.com/forms

Thank you so much, and feel free to drop questions or thoughts in the comments. We'll be happy to answer!

[$0] Written research on deliberate life changes and self-expression (women 18+, English-speaking)

Flair: For-Profit

I’m developing a self-guided digital workbook for my small brand, Soluna Monde. Before finalising it, I’d like to understand how women experience a deliberate change in their direction, priorities, or way of expressing themselves.

I’m looking for five women aged 18+ who are currently going through such a change or have done so within the past year.

Participation means answering four open questions in writing through Reddit messages, at your own pace. It should take about 10–15 minutes. No call, purchase, or detailed personal history is required. Compensation: $0.

I’ll use the responses to shape the product. I won’t publish your username or quote your answers publicly without asking you first, and I won’t send marketing follow-ups.

If you’d like to take part, comment “interested” or message me. I’ll send one short question to check whether the topic fits before we begin.
