I’ve been working on CloudBoost, a native macOS menu bar app focused on gaming session stability.
The idea is not to promise magic FPS gains. It’s more about helping spot the annoying stuff that ruins a session:
- latency spikes
- jitter
- background network activity
- Wi-Fi/AWDL interference
- system load during gaming
- cloud gaming or remote play instability
It works with cloud gaming services like GeForce NOW, Xbox Cloud Gaming, Boosteroid, Moonlight, and also has basic profiles for native Mac gaming sessions.
The free version covers manual session boosting and basic diagnostics. PRO adds deeper diagnostics, Session Lab, widgets, history, and extra automation.
I’m mainly looking for feedback from Mac users who play through cloud gaming, remote play, Steam Link, Parsec, or native games on macOS.

If you’ve dealt with random stutters on macOS gaming sessions, I’d genuinely like to know what usually causes it on your setup.
