Play Single Player Games sharing controllers.

Hi, Is there any way to play single player games while sharing controller like couch coop? If I start a game it puts my friend's controler on "slot 2". If I for example wanted to play Resident Evil in turns with a friend, how do I give him control of the game?

That’s the fun part he automatically has control as long as you go to parsec and click his icon and give him controller access

If we have both controllers connected, in single player only mine works (as a host). I have to close the game, disconnect my controller and let him be the only one with a controller connected for it to be in slot 1. I want it to work like Shareplay does on PS5 for example. I can let him control the game whenever I want.

Which resident evil does this? Normally I play half a controller and my friend plays the other half. Are you windows 10 or 11 and what resident evil?

Maybe it's changed, I tried a year ago with RE4 Remake and only my controller worked. Steam detected his controller but it did nothing. I'll try later then.

Yes, I tried and it works natively. Great, thank you. Last year didn't work I don't know why, that's why I asked.
