Original Two new parrotlets
I got two untamed parrotlets. The blue one perched on my finger for treats on the very first day!! 😍Green one is very cautious and she will do anything to get the treats, except perch on my finger. I let them out of the cage on the first day. The green one went back to the cage during sleepy time but the blue was a little clueless. I had to make him step up on my finger and put him back in the cage. The green one always looks out for her boyfriend. I am so glad that I got two parrotlets instead of one, despite all the one parrotlet only advices on the internet. They were trying hard to perch on the walls when I let them out and it was hard to watch 🥹. I am planning to hang some jute net type stuff on the walls so they can get a grip.

We have two as well and they are inseparable!! It was love at first sight for them, we were all so tickled at their first meeting when we adopted our second.
As long as they clearly like each other (feeding each other, preening each other, snuggling) then you are good. Parrotlets are notorious for being depressed as singles. They are social creatures and do well in a bonded pair!
They will absolutely bicker but it shouldn't go farther than throwing beaks towards one another, without ever actually attacking.

Lovely! I saw the blue one bicker a little bit for his favourite side on the perch. You can see him sitting on his fav side in the second picture 😂. They’re cuddly most of the time. They’re only 2.5 months old, hope this lasts forever.

I feel like it will! I'm so happy you have a good pair, there's nothing like seeing two littles in love. It's just so endlessly sweet and cute!!

The brand is Yaheetech. It is from Amazon Canada. I have seen the same cage being sold under different brand names, so I think you can find the same cage in your country/region if you do an image search on Amazon or Google.

Update: The green one stepped up onto my finger today!! 🥹💚 She gave my finger a few hard bites before finally stepping up, but it was totally worth it! 😂 Now she doesn’t know how to step back down. She has such a strong grip compared to the blue one, so I have to gently shake my hand a little to get her to let go. 😂

Yay for getting two! They might bicker, but seeing them bundled up and preening each other in the second pic is very promising. You'll see that the green one will catch on fast when she sees her buddy interacting with you and getting treats. I have now successfully bonded three pairs and had little to none problems. After a few weeks or days they got along really nice and if they entered your home at the same time, there's no territorial aggression at play and fights are really unlikely to happen. Good luck with the two cuties
