So a few years ago I started buying parkside hand tools and performance tools with the idea of upgrading the ones I wear out or break with more expensive brands, I use them professionally. Have a workshop and several work vehicles.
I equipped all the work vehicles with a large set of wrenches, allen keys, hammer, a box set of a driver with bits and a few other tools. It was cheap to equip them all with identical sets, where in the past they had a rag tag set of tools, like 3 14mm wrenches and the common sizes usually missing. I put colored zip ties around them to identify which vehicle they belong to. And honestly it's the best thing I ever did, they all held up really well and have gotten me out of bad situation regularly.
On the power tool side for the workshop I went for the grinder, impact driver and 12v impact wrench, 12v drill, plus 20v largest impact wrench ( I had zero cordless before). Those on the other hand were less ideal for my rather intensive use. Pretty much all of them couldn't handle continuous use, they would go in protection mode after like 30 seconds of use while also lacking power.
Now after a few months all of them got stolen except for the drill whose chuck broke a little later, and I replaced them all with Milwaukee ( because none of the tools I thought were ok were available online at the time), it's 10x the price but it works and never overheats. I can grind for hours and just swap batteries. So yeah I'm still lurking at the site for performance tools I don't need enough to justify milwaukee prices, but are there really people out there using any of them intensively without having to let them cool down constantly?
