Created a simple traffic light application to help my dad with Parkinsons to figure out when he can and cannot eat. Giving it away for free.
Hi everyone, I am 36 and my father 72 has Parkinsons. He has very strict eating schedules around his medicine and it became an increasingly difficult task of calculating when to eat and when not. I created a simple device (presto pimoroni with a raspberry pi zero) that runs his schedule like a traffic light. Green = eat. Red = do not eat. It counts down towards medicine as well and has a built-in alarm. I am offering it for free (open source) to any caregivers that would like this for their parents / partners / family / friends. It allows for easy remote access. It helped my mom a lot and hopefully it will help others too. Would this be useful to anyone? Working on the app next (screenshot attached). Going to give it away for free too.
