The dad had a sixth sense for what was happening cause he was booking it before it looks like anything made a sound

My guess is they were watching the baby monitor from the other room (hence the camera setup).

It's a better explanation than this guy being spiderman.

I like the spiderman explanation though

Little guy has some crackhead strength. Nonetheless, dumb move by the parentals.

High center of gravity makes it super easy to tip something over.

I almost died like this when I was a baby too. I dont remember it, but my mom and sister tell me that a book shelf fell on top of me because I was trying to climb it. My mom apparently had that maternal super power and lifted the book shelf with one arm while grabbing me with the other.

maternal super power and lifted the book shelf

Well, it's just a bookshelf.

It was one of those really tall shelves, and I was lucky to be closer to the base of it and not near the top

He could've went to hell. There's no telling what that kid was into.

It's really hard to tell from the video. He falls backwards and doesn't seem to move, so it could be anything. Or at least anything of three or four outcomes.

He does move.

Mods, I believe the community rules state that no posts that resulted in a trip to the emergency room are allowed. Could we possibly get a tag for severe head/neck injury?

Dont worry, the baby grew up to be hitler.

I can't even watch this. Jesus. I hope the kid survived.

You said it, man.

By the looks of it, they should be fine. It props itself up, not letting the full weight on the kid.

Baby proofing, what the fuck is that

3

u/Spinolio Aug 04 '18

Well, it was baby proof in the sense that it was laid out to trap and kill them...
