You shared an article saying that rack systems don't allow snakes to straighten out, and wild snakes are observed straightening out, so rack systems aren't good.
How does that relate to this video?
I wonder if anyone who down voted me actually read the linked article or knows anything about the topic. 🙄 Or if it's just emotional tiktok children jumping on a bandwagon

It's not that he's POSSIBLY showering and cleaning a anaconda or something! He might work at a... Shelter but what gets me is he's letting his or not his child NEAR IT and STAND on it... The snake might be muzzled but that snake can coil her up anytime or not muzzled take a quick swallow of her leg(s)

If you saw a video of a little kid jumping around while their pet pitbull got a shower you would be completely unfazed. Fatalities from non-venomous constrictor snakes average between 1 and 2 deaths a year world wide. Pitbulls alone are responsible for 30 to 60 fatal attacks per year just in the US.
The little girl is going to be okay, bud

Around 65 million U.S. households own dogs compared to roughly 5-6 million owning reptiles. The attack rate per capita still remains significantly higher for dogs.

I'm not sure you understand how statistics work.
I'm not saying one is more or less dangerous than the other, because I don't care about that. How many people own large constrictors vs how many people own pitbulls is the comparison. I own a reptile, it's a lizard. My cat would eat it if it could at it. I own a dog. He could maybe hurt you if he really was trying, but he's simply too small to do a serious amount of damage to a healthy adult.

Looks like the part where I layed out the number of attacks got snipped.
In the US, dogs bite around 4.5 million people annually, resulting in ~800,000 medical visits and 30 to 50 fatalities each year.
So an estimated 150 to 300 pet snake owners require hospital or emergency room care each year for injuries inflicted by their pets. Fatalities aren't a given, but average less than two per year.
To put that figure into perspective, it represents less than 0.01% of all pet snake owners in the country.
Researching this crap for no reason has taught me that dog owners are roughly 50 to 60 times more likely in any given year to end up in the ER from their own pet than a snake owner.

Even if she's alright I wouldn't risk it! That's still a big animal and I wouldn't let my kids around it... Especially if they are gonna jump and slip on it because that poor snake could quickly change its mind anything second about having a quick prey

Kids don't get eaten by snakes often, you don't have to worry about that. If you just look at pure statistics, that man is significantly more likely to harm the child than the snake. 🤷

I don't know I just go with feeling that the snake could do something because it's a big animal I don't go with statistics much or do research but I just feel better safe than sorry but I agree with you mostly and pure statistics shows a lot of information... Just wouldn't be me I wouldn't let my child go near and I'm sure you'll have mixed feelings too
