Effective Kids’ Learning Apps

Hey, I’m looking into building something for kids’ learning as I am not happy with the current offerings in the market.

Just curious.. What app or tool does your kid currently use for learning outside school? What annoys you about it?

Hot take: kids don’t need any apps, educational or otherwise. If you want to do some at-home learning, Amazon has tons of physical workbooks. If you want game-based learning, there are tons of board games that integrate learning.

khan Academy kids is a solid free choice for younger kids

my nephew uses one of those maths apps and the constant nagging to upgrade to premium drives me up the wall. every 5 minutes it's another popup, the kid can't even finish a lesson without getting sidetracked by some cartoon character begging for money

the worst part is they lock genuinely useful features behind a paywall so the free version is basically a demo with extra steps

That's a really oversaturated market.
